At the Victory Hall, Broughton, on the 22nd of November, at 7pm there will be an opportunity to find out about the results of the excavation of the longhouses at Seathwaite. The event is free to all, and is being hosted by the Duddon Valley Local History Group, and the speakers will include Jamie Quartermaine, the site director, and Jeremy Bradley, the archaeologist in charge of the excavation. There will also be representatives of the National Trust, and the Lake District National Park Authority. Refreshments will be served, and it should prove to be a interesting and illuminating evening, so we hope to see you there!
